Hi I'm Ed Schollenberger

I joined the church at 16 in Pennsylvania. I now live in Payson, Utah with 6 kids and 14 grandkids. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired elementary teacher and principal. I taught school for 20 years, 17 of those years teaching first grade. I then served for 15 years as a elementary school principal. I am married to my sweetheart, Linda. We have 6 children and 14 grandchildren. I love gardening and working in my yard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel. I joined the church when I was 16 years old and enjoyed the activities of the youth organizations. I then decided to serve a mission in California and upon returning home, I married and began a family. I did not stay close to the gospel for the next few years and realized that true happiness comes through consistently living the laws and commandments that the Lord has given through his holy prophets on earth. Since that point in my life, I have continually strived to live the gospel and have enjoyed great blessings of happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in a Brigham Young University Young Single Adult stake. I work with approximately 1800 young single adults, helping them live the gospel and prepare for their future with employment and marriage.
