Hi I'm Melissa

I grew up in Maryland. I'm a student at USU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a junior in college. I am an Elementary Education major. I love being around kids. I play soccer and basketball. I love animals. And I have a younger sister.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that it is true. My parents are both converts but I grew up with the church in my life. When I was eight years old, I decided to be baptized. It has been the greatest decision in my life. I've gained a strong testimony about the gospel because of the wonderful influences in my life. I am so grateful for the missionaries that spread the gospel around the world so that others can have the joy that it brings me. This church brings me so much happiness and I know without a doubt that it is the only true church on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. I am committed to my calling at church and I attend church every Sunday. I serve as a Sunday School teacher at my Young Single Adult ward at school. And I am a visiting teacher to wonderful women in my ward. I strive to live the commandments everyday to try and become a better person.

What is the Relief Society?

Melissa
The Relief Society is a women's organization for women ages 18 and older where we, as sisters, are able to receive that support and guidance that we need in our lives. It helps to build our faith stronger, strengthen the families that we are apart of and we are able to help those that need it. Show more Show less
