Hi I'm Frederick Tyler Shelton

I grew up in Lehi Utah. I am an aspiring adventurer and amateur international traveler, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest out of four kids at a whopping 18 years of age. I have completed a semester of university study at Dixie State College. I enjoy reading, learning, photography, video, music, language and really pretty much anything else. Some of my favorite life mottos are "stress level zero" and "adventure till we die". I really enjoy learning about our countries past and have a fascination with the United States founding fathers particularly Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I want to be. I have come to know for myself that the Book of Mormon is true, that my Heavenly Father loves me and I am his child, that Jesus Christ gave his life to atone for my sins, that the gospel as been restored fully by Joseph Smith. I love the Gospel and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it brings me closer to the gospel.

How I live my faith

Growing up I was always apart of my priesthood quorum presidencies, however my favorite calling has been as a Gospel Doctrine Teacher for my young single adult ward at college. There is just nothing like studying the gospel when I am preparing for a lesson, the spirit is strong and helps make my lessons meaningful and spiritual.
