Hi I'm Mary Raymer

I served an 18 month mission in Toronto, Canada. I could backpack every day of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to backpack (especially a good slot canyon), hike, be outside, play all sports (except golf...never quite caught on to that one). I have three semesters left before I graduate as a nursing student (I'm hoping to work in an ER somewhere). My parents were both divorced before they found each other resulting in a mixed, and very happy family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is a true organization designed by God to create joy and purpose; eventually allowing us to be lead back to Him again. There is a higher standard of living that is easy to obtain and available to all, it can be learned by simply reading the Book of Mormon. I continue in this path because of my gratitude for Jesus Christ's sacrifice, the happiness my loved ones and I am blessed with, and the knowledge that I have purpose and direction. I know that I will be welcomed in Heaven if I endure to the end and continue on this road.

How I live my faith

I chose to serve a mission for the LDS church and my Savior. I was in the Canada Toronto Mission. I shared and do still share the gospel simply because it's true. This is how we will gain happiness, this is how we will be able to come to feel the loving embrace of Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven again.
