Hi I'm Mason Lee Williamson

I grew up in Utah and Montana, I was a very successful High School Athlete, and I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm the oldest of 7 children and we have a friend living with us. In high school I was a very good wrestler and hurdler and was a decent football player. After graduation i started working to save up for a mission and recently have been called to serve in the San Paulo Philippines Mission speaking Tagalog.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. For that I am eternally grateful. But just because i was given a life knowing the Gospel early doesn't mean I believed always. I even did some things that needed the Atonement to fix and had to go talk to priesthood leaders about. That's nerve racking let me tell you. I am a Mormon because I know what we teach is true. That it leads to a better life now and through eternity. That because I follow the teachings of Christ I may someday go live with Him. I've felt the spirit clearly say this is what I need to be doing, and I've felt him leave as he couldn't be with me while I did some stupid stuff. I know that the greatest joy comes from my family and the knowledge that we will be together forever and that is what we as a church are all about

How I live my faith

Where I live is predominantly Mormon, but when i lived in Montana that wasn't so. I've felt as if i stuck out like a sore thumb because i didn't have a lot of the teenage experiences others did. Even in Utah where there are tons of LDS people your values get challenged almost more because you see kids on Sunday dong things you know they know are wrong. Some of the things I did as part of being a LDS kid was having same leadership callings in the Boy Scouts of America and other Young Men's groups have shown me what can happen to people who fell into social teenage stereotypes and i decided I wanted better for myself and for my future family. Being LDS I've always been shown how decisions can affect the family I have now and my future one,
