Hi I'm Anthony Manzione

Born and raised in Tooele, Utah. I am serving a Full-Time Mission in the Philippines Urdaneta Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being on the water. I could drive a boat all day long if I could. There is something about the water that calms me down, makes me think. Wakeboarding is a huge interest of mine, as is Hiking, and cars!! Skydiving is the bomb!! I am on a mission in the Philippines, speaking the Tagalog language. When I return I plan to attend college at Utah State University. I know that the Lord answers our prayers, but it may not be when we want them to be answered, it could be a few days, few months or even years later. I love driving cars also, like as fast as I can!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a mormon. I guess you can say being a mormon is easy for me because everybody in my family is. But we all have trials in our lives some may be to become Mormon or not others to eat this not that. I do know this church is true. I can see it almost everyday of my life. People respect me more because of my high standards. Sometimes it makes things in life easier sometimes it most definitely does not. Sometimes being a Mormon isn't cool, been there done that, but in the end i know it is the right thing to do.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a weekly basis. I go to young men's on Tuesday night to interact with my fellow friends. I help my little brother with his testimony as he looks up to me, what I say, what I do. He is my inspiration to be good. Now I am serving a full-time Mission in the Philppines Urdaneta mission.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Anthony Manzione
God has called prophets to lead His Church in our day, just as He did anciently. The current prophet and President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Thomas S. Monson. He is assisted by two counselors—Henry B. Eyring and Dieter F. Uctdorf. Together, they make up the First Presidency of the Church (much like Peter, James, and John after Christ’s death). What is faith?

Anthony Manzione
To me, it is a very simple answer, faith is hoping or believing in something or someone without seeing it. It's like having faith in a coach of a sports team. You have faith that him/her will do the right plays to bring your team to victory. To have faith is to “hope for things which are not seen, which are true” (see Book of Mormon, Alma 32:21 and Hebrews 11:1). Each day you act upon things you hope for, even before you see the end result. This is similar to faith. Show more Show less
