Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Arizona. I love to dance, and play sports. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am very adventurous, I love traveling and experiencing new things. I'm very active with sports and dance and will do or try any type of either out there. I like to sing (loud and off key probably) while I cook, and watch fun movies with my friends and family. I love making new friends and keeping the ones that I've already got. I am absolutely crazy about Disney, and upholding family traditions. I am 20 years old, have my associates degree and am currently getting ready to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was adopted by Mormon parents at a young age, through them, family friends, and members of the church I have always felt loved and supported in all that I do. I have complete joy in my life because of the gospel, it has protected and shielded me from a world that has a lot of bad things in it. It helps me find the good and joy in everything and everything that I do. I have felt my Saviors life and witnessed the many blessings that he has given me. It has been a great comfort to know that this is a solid church that it doesn't change or "adapt" with the times and it doesn't need to. It has been and will be the same for ever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing what I have learned with others and learning as much as I can from everyone around me. I enjoy going out with the missionaries in my ward and talking to people who have a desire to learn more about the gospel. This past summer I had the opportunity to be a youth councilor for a church camp called Especially For Youth or EFY. I was able to teach the kids something that has had a huge impact in my life and yet at the same time learn from them and gain new insights that I had never thought about before.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

The Bible is Holy Scriptures, and is the word of God. It is absolutely incredible and has taught me a lot. It is a testament of Christ before he lived, while he lived, and after his death. It was written by holy prophets that were called of God to record and preserve all that they taught. Through other prophets called of God in the same way the Book of Mormon was written and is also an testament of Christ. Show more Show less
