Hi I'm Amanda

I'm an English student. I'm a Trekkie. I'm a lover of classic film. I'm a feminist and a Democrat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but like others, it took me many years to find my faith. But today I can tell you that I know the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth by a living prophet. I love the gospel and what it has provided for me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon feels like home. While we're all imperfect individuals, and sometimes we don't do or say the right things, we are united in love and a belief in our savior Jesus Christ. He came to Earth to atone for our sins. He restored His gospel in the humblest of places through the humblest of men in the early 19th century so that our people could be led by prophets, just like those of old. He will come again so that we may have peace on Earth and everlasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time proselyting mission in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Are Mormons Christians?

YES. My faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is made completely possible by my love for and relationship with my savior Jesus Christ. He knows me. He gets me. He loves me. Show more Show less
