Hi I'm Camille

I am a student, a writer, a prospective singing teacher, and a Zumba lover. love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play tennis. I play the piano, am learning the ukelele and I love to sing. I graduated from a chef course with my Dad and we love making dinner together. I am studying journalism and I love to read, write, and edit. I feel the most fulfilled when I have had a meaningful conversation with someone. Listening and helping others feel valued and appreciated goes a long way in my book. I am a single college student trying to find purpose in each day. I strive to understand God's purpose for me in my life. I need to be reminded constantly how much God loves me. I am my worst critic and I find that without the help of my Father in Heaven I have a hard time noticing my worth as His daughter. I appreciate sincerity and genuine character. I am working on a singing teacher certification program online; I want to become a certified Zumba instructor; I want to learn to play more instruments; I have many interests and talents and hope to be able to use them I furthering the Lord's work here on the earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of this church are the teachings of Christ. I learn of Christ and feel the Holy Ghost each day because of the knowledge this gospel has provided me with. I have felt my Heavenly Father's love for me. The Book of Mormon is true, this gospel is Jesus Christ's gospel on the earth today. I know this with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in the decisions I make, I strive every single day to be more like Christ. I love sharing my testimony through music. I love to serve others and by being an example of Christ I show my love for Him and my Father in Heaven. I feel that as a disciple Of Christ I can more fully serve and show my love for Him by loving and serving those around me.

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

The official name of this church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The term "mormons" is a nickname our church has been given because of the book of scripture we believe called the Book of Mormon, although this is not the official name of our church, we acknowledge the use of it because it associates us with this sacred book of scripture. What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a confirmation of the truthfulness of the gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that comes from the Holy Ghost. My testimony is simple, but it is so important to me. I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love this church. I know it is the true church and that it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ restored to this earth again in these latter-days. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God, and that it is the word of God, I know the doctrines and principles it teaches come from God. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior, I know that He atoned for me sins so that I can repent and return to live with Him again. I know that the current prophet on the earth, President Thomas S. Monson, is a true prophet of God. I know that God answers prayers. He loves all His children, and He wants us all to repent and come unto Him. Show more Show less
