Hi I'm David

I'm a student. I'm a golfer. And I am a full time missionary of the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am an avid golfer, I study chemistry at Harvard University, I love chemical and biological research, and love the outdoors (biking, running, hiking, skiing, etc.)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know with a surety that it is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ upon this earth. The church brings structure, unity, and joy to my life. There have been times in my life when I have not made the church a priority. It is at these instances that life becomes dark and unenjoyable. Trials and tribulations will always be present in our lives but I have found that as I try my best to be an active member of His church that He will aid me in my struggles. Our Heavenly Father knows us perfectly and knows how to build us up in order to one day become like Him. I have a firm testimony in the atonement of Jesus Christ. It is through, and only through, the Savior that we have the opportunity to return to Him one day. As we seek to humble ourselves before the Lord and repent of our shortcomings we feel His eternal peace and guidance. I know Jesus is the Christ. I know that if we come unto Him and seek to do all that He asks of us that one day we will have the opportunity to return to our Father in Heaven. In brief I would say, "I am a Mormon because there is eternal joy to be had in the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

How I live my faith

I seek to make church meetings and church callings a priority in my life. At times the workload of college becomes extremely stressful but as I seek to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ a priority in my life I have found that there is joy. In my life I have discovered that active participation in the church does not only bring temporal blessings but brings a spiritual peace. This spiritual peace, I have witnessed, is only present in my life as I seek to be an active participant by serving those around me whether it be through church callings, church attendance, or any other act of service towards God's children.
