Hi I'm Kristine

I have lived in Idaho my whole life. I have donated my hair to the Locks of Love 4 times. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at BYU-Idaho studying English. I have played the violin for about 11 years and have loved every moment of it. I really like running and not so much out of the want to exercise, but just because I love it. I love swimming. I enjoy doing anything outdoors. I really love food and like to try new things. I love reading, especially the classics like Utopia, Frankenstein, etc. I have donated my hair for the Locks of Love foundation and am planning on doing that more. I have been called to serve in the Canada Toronto mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had many trials in my life that have made me wonder if trying is worth it. I had a hard time understanding why I was going through what I was going through. One time, my parents simply told me to pray. Pray for help and forgiveness. I did pray and what I felt that night I cannot deny. I know that this church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that President Monson is the prophet today. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he died for us. I know that he lives because I have felt him. I want to be able to share my testimony with many others I serve the Lord.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through my example. I am trying to be more like Christ with my everyday activities. When I go about my day, I try my best to remember Christ and what it would be like if he was walking beside me. It has helped me to not judge people and has helped me to be a better disciple of Christ. In my ward, I have been asked to play the violin during church services. I have loved being able to share my testimony through music. They may be simple songs, but they have truly reflected how I feel and what I know about the church.
