Hi I'm Jessica

I like to paint and get my hands messy, I read a lot, and I'm serving a mission in South Dakota!

About Me

I am a voracious reader, an artist, a writer, and the oldest of four siblings. I have one cat. I plan on going to college in Utah next year. I like target shooting and cooking and designing t-shirts and singing, not that I'm necessarily good at any of those things. In case you haven't guessed already, I also happen to be a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of this church. I've felt the Holy Spirit tell me that it was true on a number of occasions. The Church brings me happiness and strength every day of my life.

How I live my faith

I go to church meetings and activities every week. I donate money to the Church regularly. I used to be one of the leaders in my local youth group, but I moved away since then. I love to read the scriptures and learn about the Gospel.

What is faith?

Jessica
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith is difficult to define. You don't have to know something to have faith in it, but you do have to believe in it a little bit. I guess the best synonym for it is trust in God, or trust that God knows what He's doing.
