Hi I'm Madison Dean

I was born and raised in Utah. I love my family, they mean so much to me. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love my family! I love animals! I love music, I love that I can express my feelings through music! I love pink and zebra print! I love my 6 inch stilettos! I love food- Mac'n'Cheese is my favorite! I love so many things! But more than anything I love God! And I love making Him a part of my life, no matter where I am and no matter what I do He is ALWAYS there! I love Him! And that is what defines me the most! I am a Mormon and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true, I know that with all of my being! I also know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who loves each and everyone of us and know us all individually. He cares about us so much that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die and atone for our sins so that we may return to live with them some day. Our purpose on Earth is to grow and to learn so that we can live again with them. I know that the Joseph Smith is and was a true prophet of the Lord. Heavenly Father through Joseph Smith was able to restore The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Earth. Through Joseph He was able to give us the Book of Mormon, which I know to be another true testiment of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that anyone who will read that book, study it and pray with a sincere heart and with real intenet can also know that it is also the word of God just as the Bible is. I have a testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true restored church of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. I am so grateful for this knowledge and hope that I can share it with others so that they may find the true eternal joy that God would wish for them to have through the gospel. I am a Mormon because I have prayed to know for myself that this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I am not a parent, but I love kids so much! I teach a primary class of young children and they are a wonderful part of my life. They are so cute and so funny! They say the funniest things and they also say the most amazing things. They have taught me so much about life and living the gospel, they have taught me more than I could ever teach them. They have taught me; faith, patience, love, kindness, forgiveness, joy, peace, gratitude, understanding, etc. the list grows everytime I am with them. And through the knowledge they have given me, I feel that I have been able to become a better person. Children really are a perfect example of faith. They trust and believe what us as adults have to say and teach to them. They rely on us for their needs and wants. We need to be like that in a sense towards our Father in Heaven. We need to have faith in Him and trust that he will help fill our needs and out wants in life. I feel that faith not only is trust and believing in something, but I feel it is an attitude of life. It is an attitude of optimism or hope. If we live our lives with this attitude of faith our lives can truly be blessed.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Madison Dean
Technically all that we own is the Lord's. All He is asking for is 10%. It is a sacrifice to give up 10% of what we make, but it is a commandment from God. Paying tithing is simply showing obedience to the Lord. We may not always understand the commandments that we are given, but through our obedience we receive blessings. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Madison Dean
Mormon's are just normal everyday people, just like everyone else. We just live life a little differently than others. Being Mormon is great, it's not always easy though. We have hard times and normal experiences just like everyone else, whe just have different beliefs and understandings. Just because I am Mormon doesn't make me any more or less than someone who isn't. We are all God's children and He loves each and every one of us! Being Mormon is great! Show more Show less

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Madison Dean
Temples are not secret, they are sacred. The people who go to the temple have temple reccomends. There are a set of questions that are asked to see your worthiness on entering the Temple. The reality of Temples are that we truly do want everyone to be able to enter! But you have to prepare youself. If you do not receive the proper preparation to enter the Temple you cannot receive the blessings offered to their full extent. If you knew nothing about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and were to enter the Temple it would be like taking Calculus without having taken Algebra or Geometry. It would make not sense and it would have not meaning to you. Temples are not secret, it's just that not everyone is prepared to enter in. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Madison Dean
Of course we believe in Jesus Christ! The full name of our church is The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Who could name their church that and not believe in Him? Haha! In fact our church is based around returning to Him and our loving Heavenly Father and how we achieve that by living our lives worthily. We believe in the Plan Of Salvation which is the premortal life, Earth life and life after with Heavenly Father and Jesus. And Jesus is an essential part of that plan. The atonement. Jesus Christ was Resurrected so that we could overcome death, and he suffered so much for us so that we can be forgiven of our sins and so that we can become as Him. Heavenly Father truly does love each of us He gave His Son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and today He gives us many things to help us through our lives! Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Madison Dean
We are Christians! :) The full name of our church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" so Christ is in our name! I think that answers that question. I know that as a member having faith in Christ has blessed my life and it is such an important part of my life! We have a wonderful book called "The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ" and anyone that has faith in Christ should read this book! I love the Bible BUT the Book Of Mormon has added so much to my faith in Christ! So long answer short, yeah we are Christians! Show more Show less
