Hi I'm Collin Loertscher

From Utah, Love to hike and play guitar and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love music and played in a band before my full-time mission. I love a lot of music, and a fellow Mormon, Brandon Flowers (The Killers), is my hero in the music industry. I have a loving family and was raised in the Gospel by Christlike parents who always invited in Christ's way. I would love to be an LDS Institute teacher when I am finished with my degree. I plan to attend the University of Utah. I want to have a family based on the principles of love, kindness, mercy, patience and diligence. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered for me and He loves me. I know this from the depths of my soul.

Why I am a Mormon

Many children, born and raised in the church or not, have stages of rebellion. I wasn't sure I had a testimony and I gave in to many opinions of others and their perception of Joseph Smith. I didn't become truly converted until I read the Book of Mormon, the fruit of the restoration. The Book of Mormon is the doctine of Christ and I know this to be true by the Holy Spirit of Promise. God answers prayers, He answers mine, that is why I am here.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full-time LDS mission right now. I believe that is all I can say about living my faith right now, because this is where my focus is. If you would like to know more about missionary work, ask questions and I'd be happy to answer through doctrine and my experiences out in the field.
