Hi I'm David Neal Crocker

I'm a missionary serving in Cavite, Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am serving a two-year mission in the Philippines. However, before I was a full-time missionary, I was a college student, studying Film and Animation. I am a storyteller, and I love to use film as my medium. Yet I know that there are more important things in this life than entertainment. I know that the church is true, and that it can change lives. It's changed mine over and over again.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My father is a convert and my mother is from a less-active family. Every member of the Church has to discover the truthfulness of it for themselves. No one can tell you that it is true. Only through constant study of the scriptures and prayer can you know for yourself that the church has an ounce of truth to it. For me, it took me years before I actually knew that anything was true about the church. Now, though, I know it's true. The main thing that I've discovered is that our Father in Heaven, our God, loves each and every one of us. Because we are his children, He wants the best for each of us, and so he's provided a plan for us to someday obtain every blessing that he has. It's all possible because of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'm living my faith right now by serving a mission for the people in the Philippines. I do this by sharing the love and peace the Gospel of Jesus Christ offers everyone that I meet daily, regardless of their circumstances or mine. The gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone, and it's currently my calling share the gospel with all!
