Hi I'm Tehren Killpack

I grew up in Kimball, Idaho and now live in Shelley, Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful wife and four wonderful children. I love sports, especially football, and love attending my sons football, basketball, and baseball games as well as my daughters dance recitals. She is a dancing queen. I also love to listen to my daughter play the piano. Its something I wish I could do and admire her for her talents. I love the outdoors especially seeing the snow covered mountains or blue glassy water. I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy spending time tinkering with mechanical things. I absolutely hate shopping!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a mormon and for that I am very grateful and feel very blessed. I have had many influences in my life that have helped me.....family, friends, church leaders as well as many wonderful non-members. Through all this, I have had many personal experiences where the Holy Ghost has communicated to my heart and spirit of the truthfulness of the Mormon doctrine. I know that the Savior came to this earth, lived a perfect life, Atoned for our sins, and died that we might live again and be perfected through his Atonement. I know that he is the only means of salvation. I know that God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ appeared to a young man named Joseph Smith and initiated the process of the restoration of the Gospel. Through this process the Book of Mormon was brought forth as another testament of Jesus Christ and that the Bible and Book of Mormon testify of the divinity of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Since the time of this restoration there are once again living prophets and apostles on the earth who are special witnesses of Jesus Christ and are called to help guide us in our day just as they did anciently. I love how the restored gospel makes it clear where I came from, why I am here on this earth, and what happens after we die. I know that happiness in this life comes through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live in a small community and enjoy the friendships I have. I enjoy teaching the youth and have had the opportunity to teach young people about the Savior and his Atonement. In doing so, it is amazing what they have taught me in return. I am also involved in family history work and enjoy learning about my ancestors. I hope to be able to do more in the future and help my children and others understand this great work.
