Hi I'm Lucy

I'm from Honduras, I love children and I love to play the viola. I’m a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it!!

About Me

My name is Lucy. I have four brothers. My parents' example has provided me guidance throughout my life. When my dad was an area authority seventy, I learned many things from him as he serves in the calling. My parents support me on every good decision that I have made. I like to work with children. My favorite hobbies are playing volleyball, singing, listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with my friends and play the viola. My favorite color is teal.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My parents were the first members, the first generation in their families. I have tried to follow the faithfulness of my pioneer parents by living the gospel. It started with the big step I knew I was taking when I got baptized. I know that this church is true because I prayed and asked our Heavenly Father about it. Now I have the conviction that this is the right place where I'm supposed to be. I’m a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it!

How I live my faith

The church is very important to me. I graduated from seminary, I am going to start my fourth year in Institute. I have also had the opportunity to serve and lead in the church. I was the first counselor in the Laurels in the Young Women organization. I was the teacher for CTR in Primary and right now I'm the Second Counseler of the Primary Presidency. I love working with children. I have learned many wonderful things about them and about Jesus Christ and His gospel. My testimony is greater about Him, and also about prayer, in fact, my favorite Primary song is “A Child’s Prayer” as it talks about my belief in the power of prayer. I know that Jesus Christ listens and answers our prayers. I know He will always be with me, and he never leaves us alone. I know that I am a daughter of God, and I know that I am special, unique, and that He loves me. I am very thankful to God for all the blessings that he has given me. I have been called on an lds mission and I'm going to serve in the Chile Antofagasta Mission. It's a dream come true.
