Hi I'm Autumn

I was born in Oregon and have moved around a little bit since then. I enjoy the outdoors and being active. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running. I ran in track and cross country in junior high and high school and thought about running in college. I just started my freshmen year of college, although I decided not to run with a team, I still like to do it. I like to do art and I love to be outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life. I really love the teachings of the Gospel, and have chosen to stay a member because I believe it is good, it makes sense and I believe it is true. Sometimes I have struggled with whether I knew the church was true or not, and I haven't wanted to only go off of what my parents believed. Since I have always had the gospel I don't know what it is like not to have it. So sometimes it has been hard to see differences in feelings I have had about it. I know that I may never have a perfect knowledge of the Gospel in this life, but I know what I want and how I want my life to be, and I will continue to try to strengthen my belief in this church everyday.

How I live my faith

I was a class president and class counselor a couple times for church and helped with girls camp, I'm kind of shy so to lead was hard sometimes, but it helped me to reach out a little more. Right now I am serving a Mission in Texas (Spanish and English speaking), I have been out almost a year. I still have a lot to learn, But I know my mission will help me become a stronger better person.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Autumn
Our bodies and spirits really do affect eachother. I feel good when I excercise and eat good. When I put good things in my body I accompish more and feel better about myself. But when I feel bad spiritually I don't want to be as physically healthy, and when I'm physically unhealthy I feel bad spiritually. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Autumn
Yes. The full name of our church is The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, in our meetings we are taught of doctrines christ taught, and about commandments he has given. We learn about basic principles taught in the scriptures and then expound and learn more about those principles. We believe in the atonement and want to become like Christ just like many other churches do. Show more Show less
