Hi I'm Jamie

I was raised in Hawaii, served a mission in Taiwan and am now married with two kids.

About Me

Up until the birth of my second child, I worked from home as an Investment Advisor for a small firm based out of San Diego, California. I am now a full-time mother of two young children. We recently relocated from Wilmington, North Carolina to Raleigh.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family with a long history of members of the Church--including early members who came from Europe and pioneers who crossed the plains to enjoy religious freedom. My parents had six children and have always been excellent examples to us in teaching us about Jesus Christ. We would read scriptures together as a family every night and once a week, we would do an activity together as a family. We would support one another in our activities and have remained close into our adulthood. I can honestly say that the teachings of the church have blessed my life in many ways.

How I live my faith

In the past, I have worked closely with the young women in church and I am constantly impressed by their strength and determination to do what's right in the face of temptation and peer pressure. While some people may think it's strange to not drink, smoke or date before the age of 16, I have learned that keeping high moral standards can protect us from a lot of problems and heartaches.
