Hi I'm Elder David Mann

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love living life to the fullest, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! I'm Elder David Mann and i'm currently serving in the Edmonton Alberta, Canada Mission. I love to boat!! I'm really good at kneeboarding, and I love to wakeboard. I enjoy doing outside activities, basically anything that helps me stay athletic, like hiking, working out, and sports. I'm a pretty competitive guy and I definitely play to win. My family play a very important part in my life, and we always do great family vacations or traditions. I love to hang out with my friends and share in each others happiness. A big thing about me is I really enjoy getting to know new people and experience different cultures. I would say i'm some what of a "Ladies Man". haha However I only treat them with the out most respect. So no... chivlary is not dead!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up in the church. However for the longest time i was less active and not interested in going to Church or reading the Book of Mormon. It wasn't until i was 20 that i decided to find out for myself if this Church was true and if the Book of Mormon was the word of God. Through my life I have gone through many hardships, more than i would ever wish on my worse enemy. I look back and think of the trouble and problems i got myself in to. I realize that if i would have given a little bit of my time to the Gospel i wouldn't have had to face all the challenges i did. Because of the time i set aside to ask questions and learn for myself what i believe to be true. I have become the person i want to be. By living and following the Gospel of Jesus Christ It has blessed me in so many different ways. One being the way i interact with others, my family and friends especially. I enjoy an abundance of happiness in life and every thing that i do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing just that, Living it! I live it everyday! I'm really big in leading by example and showing others how to act. I always remember to Act not React to a person or a situation, it keeps me happy and on track. A big thing for me is prayer and scripture study. To others it may seem like a chore. But to me it is my life source for the day. I constantly look for ways I can improve myself. Things like helping others answer questions they have about the Church, or doing service for those in need. Helping people is where a great majority of my joy comes from. If you don't agree or believe in my faith that is alright, At least accept my hospitality. Something I love to say is " The Church is a Lifestyle, not a Title " I would never ask some one to do something I wouldn't be comfortable doing. Living my faith helps me grow and change to the ideal person I see myself being.
