Hi I'm Dustin

I drink soda with no ice. My favorite food is cereal. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, i sure do love competition! i don't find very much fun in things, most of the time, unless we can make a competition out of it. i am currently serving a 2-year mission for the Church, in North Carolina. I could probably out-eat anyone at a cereal eating contest!! i love to watch movies. some favorites include, "The Guardian", "Cinderella Man", "Armageddon", and "Seven Pounds", but i have a long list of others that i LOVE also. My family is the most important things to me in life, i would do anything for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah, which has many members of our church that reside there. I knew plenty about the churches teachings growing up, and when i reached the age of fourteen, i become very interested in the churches doctrine regarding 'eternal families'. i knew that if someday i wanted to get married, i would want it to be forever. so i prayed to have the Mormon missionaries come by, and even told my friends to tell them i wanted to see them. after two-three months of prayer, the missionaries happened to see my dad out working in the yard and stopped to talk to him. he told them that he was not interested, but he thought that i would be... the missionaries taught me about the church, and i recieved many answers to prayer and i knew that this was gods path for me and that the things they shared were true. now, 7 years later, i am now a missionariy, out doing what they did and trying to help others in the same way that they helped me and my family!

How I live my faith

I think that i have experienced a lot of changes on this mission that will impact the way i live my life forever! i have a very strong desire to serve in the church, and i think i would love to continue to do missionary work when my current mission is over! My current full-time responibility, however, is to teach non-members about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and help everyone, including those who are already members of our church, to develop stonger fatih in Christ. I am a full time, volenteer teacher!

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Haha, when i asked my dad one time what he thought about preparing to be sealed together as a family in one of our temples, he laughed and jokingly said, "what makes you think that i want to be with you all forever!?" We know that worthy individuals, who have prepared themselves to make such promises, can enter into one of our holy temples and makes promises to eachother as man and wife, that then bind them together for eternity to by the priesthood authority of god. So... eternal marriage? You bet your life! Show more Show less
