Hi I'm Bracken Moeller

I am an outdoors and exercise loving, engineer to be, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am going to college at a local university to become an engineer and fabricator. I have always liked things with engines, so I've fixed up old and classic cars for fun in my spare time. I am married to a wonderful woman, and am a proud uncle to several amazing little children. I play a lot of sports, and I love exercise and fitness. I love several types of music, and listen to them a lot. I learned Spanish on a religious service mission in Nicaragua, where I spent two years with the wonderful people there. I love life. I believe in Jesus Christ, and in His true church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the Book of Mormon. I know it's true. The feelings of peace and happiness I get while reading the Book of Mormon and the other scriptures outweigh all the negatives I've had in my life. I know that this is the exact same church that Christ restored on the earth, and that it is our responsibility to help take care of God's children here on earth. I've had many experiences throughout my life that help me to know the truthfulness of this work.

How I live my faith

I try to be nice to everyone. I go to church services and meetings. I believe that we should act upon what we learn during church and the meetings, and apply it in our daily lives so that we are better followers of Christ. I call and visit those in need, best I can.

What is faith?

Bracken Moeller
Faith is believing something with your whole heart where there is no room for doubt, and then acting upon it. I believe in Christ, and I will act upon that best I can, everyday. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Bracken Moeller
In the scriptures the Lord has commanded that we obey the law of the tithe. God does not need our money. He could give the church all the money they need through miraculous means, if he wanted to. Jesus and the apostles were shown that when Jesus told them to go catch a fish and get the money inside to pay their taxes. We are told to pay tithing so that if we do, we can be blessed for obeying his commandments. If God gives us 10 dollars, then asks for just one back, and in exchange will give us even more blessings, shouldn't we do that? Show more Show less
