Hi I'm Kalli Jensen

I am a Mormon and I believe compleatly!!! I know this church is true and I love it

About Me

I recently returned from my LDS mission, I served in the amazing state of California. I am now a ward missionary and I go out with other ward missionaries weekly to visit members and we also go out with the full-time missionaries locally. I also am a ward relief society pianist. I love being able to serve my God in new ways :) I am currently attending college and I am preparing for whatever life decides to hand me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong rooted faith in this gosple because I lost a friend three years ago in a tragic car accident killing her, her grandmother, and her grandfather. The only way I was able to cope through her death was because I have a loving Heavenly Father and I know He gave me comfort. I believe I will see her again and I know that she had important work to do somewhere else. I know my father in Heaven cares about me because He comforted me and taught me in that time of tryal. I also have a strong faith in Eternal Families because of this. I know that I can see my family again in Heaven as long as we live a good rightous life. I can also get sealed to my future husband in the temple and the family we have will also be with me in Heaven together. I have a strong Belief in Eternal Families and in the Importance of families here on the earth. They are who God sent to help us out. They are our best friends since birth untill death. They are there for me through Think and thin. If I ever need anything they are there to help me, and Heavenly Father sent them for the purpose of supporing one another. I also am responsible to repay that favor and help them out when they need it. I also came home early from my mission, it was a full honorable release, but culturally thats not what we do, I had to rely on the healing power of the atonement to help me move on in my life, I am coming closer to my Heavenly Father every day. He is my rock. I am learning to put His will in front of mine and to let Him guide my life. He has my best interests at heart and knows how to help me get where I need to be.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings every Sunday which I love! :) and I get together with a group of young adults in my ward every week and we learn from each other in a family home evening, I also serve as a missionary for my ward. We go out once a week and visit with active and inactive members of the ward to see how they are doing. We share Christ's Love with everyone we can. I study my scriptures and I am often praying to Heavenly Father for guidance. It is a part of everything I do. I find myself wishing on a star and before I even realize it I am praying. It is who I am.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Kalli Jensen
Women don't need to hold the priesthood. We have other callings to do in the church and we are surrounded by men who can assist us with the preisthood. Women help in many areas with many things, even without the priesthood. Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Kalli Jensen
They will answer any questions you may have and tell you about what we believe and how it can make your life even better. They tell you how Christ restored His Church on the earth and how we can come closer to Christ through that. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Kalli Jensen
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is too much to put into one simple answer, It is the good news, the gospel, and our salvation. It is the act Christ did so that we may all be healed spiritually from sin and physically and emotionally form other aliments. It is the most loving act ever performed and it is the most selfless act ever performed. It includes when Christ prayed for each and every one of us individually and asked the Father to save us. It is when Christ was nailed to the cross for us, It was the purpose for which Christ came to earth. Show more Show less
