Hi I'm Kelsie Anderson

I grew up in Idaho. I am studying to be a Kindergarten teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love volleyball. I am going to BYU Idaho studying to become a kindergarten teacher, I fell in love with teaching when I had a chance to volunteer at an Elementary school during high school. I work at an afterschool program for our school district. I love four wheeling, camping, snowboarding, longboarding and really, I just love life. I returned home from a mission in Leeds England at the end of 2013. When I was 9 I wrote a series of books called "The Cow Named Wow" (they were never published but they do sit proudly in my teacher's classroom)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and sometimes people think that this is the reason I am a Mormon. I can tell you it is not the only reason, I am very grateful that I was born into the church, but I am a Mormon because I believe in it with all of my being. I know that this is the church with the fullness of the gospel. This knowledge wasn't something that I just happened to get over night, it took work. Lots of reading from The Book of Mormon and LOTS of time spent on my knees talking to my Heavenly Father. I can tell you that I know The Book of Mormon is true because I have read it again and again and each time I read it the Spirit continues to bare witness that it is true. I know that I am a daughter of God and that I wasn’t just randomly placed here I have a purpose for being here, just like every one of us do. I know that Joseph Smith did what he said he did, he saw God the Father and the Son, and they directed him as he established the church back on the Earth. If you want to know for yourself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true I encourage you to read The Book of Mormon and find out for yourself and then get on your knees and ask God if these things are true and He will answer you, it may not come like a voice or like something from the scriptures and it might even not come right away but slowly and surely I know that he will answer you because he has answered me.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary. I spend time helping people come closer to Christ through visiting them and having short lessons.
