Hi I'm Hunter Black

I am from Pleasant Grove, Utah. I unicycle and I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of eight children. I have been part of, and performed with a world ranked high school jazz band. I play the saxophone, piano, clarinet, and bass clarinet. I love to play many different sports. I love to just hang out with my friends and have some fun. I like to hunt and ride 4-wheelers. I am currently serving a mission for the Church in Costa Rica. I will be attending Brigham Young University when I get back and am going to study Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life. Both of my parents are Mormon so I followed their path. I always believed that it was true, but I was never truly "converted". I have had many experiences in which I have come to know of the truthfulness of this gospel by studying the scriptures, praying, going to church, etc. God answers prayers and has let me know that this church is true. He has let me feel His spirit and the Spirit has testified to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church. I know that He answers prayers and that everyone can know that this church is true as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my ward. I do my best to be involved in my ward activities by volunteering to set up and helped with whatever may be needed. I help those in my ward who are a part of the Boy Scouts do their Eagle Projects and attain the rank of Eagle. I try to live my life the way which Jesus Christ would have me do. I pray to my Heavenly Father daily and seek His guidance in all I do. I also live my faith by serving others. I have been called to serve a mission for the church and will be serving for two years in Costa Rica.
