Hi I'm Trevor

I play college football. I have been called to serve in the Benin Cotonou Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Utah in a family with 6 kids, and have always enjoyed the outdoors and sports. I enjoy everything from hiking to skiing. I currently am playing college football at a school in Utah. I chose though to leave for two years to serve a mission, and I have been called to serve in the Benin, Cotonou mission in west Africa. I am very grateful for this oppurtunity and I know I will be blessed for it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the true church. I can say that I haven't always known this though, but I went along with it. Not till my high school years, where I faced many challenges of all sort, did I really gain a testimony in the Atonement and this church. I also learned that in this church we are led by true prophets who receive direct revelation from our Heavenly Father. Along with being the true church, it makes me a much happier person, and helps me in all areas of my life. When I truely gained a testimony of this church, and did my best to live by its teachings, I felt a noticeable change in how I felt, and in how happy I was. Being surrounded by many diverse lifestyles right now, and seeing where people come from. I can see that the only true way to joy and happiness is by living the gospel, and keeping His commandments. I have many friends who are new to the church, and it is very exciting to see that change in them, and simply how much happier they are. I continue to now, and always will follow His gospel because I know it is true, it blesses me in all areas, and it brings me happiness.

How I live my faith

Being an athlete in high school and college I felt like that has given me a great oppurtunity to be a great example of others and to be a missionary. Especially now as I am in college there are many other players I'm playing with from places not as familiar of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Seeing their backgrounds and where they come from makes me want to be an even better example to them, and to help them learn more about the church. Along with living right and being involved in the ward, I do my best to serve them, and see areas where I can share the gospel with them. Outside of that and church, I just always do my best to live right, whether people are watching or not. I know that when people are watching, and I'm living the gospel, it can make them more interested in it.
