Hi I'm Melissa

I grew up in utah. I love to draw, paint, and make anything with my hands. I love to read and do puzzles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am Melissa. I love to draw and paint pictures that I have taken myself. Throughout Jr. High and high school, I had took all the art class that I could get my hands on until I graducated. Some day I will go back to college to get my degree in Art Education to become a art teacher. I also love to read fictional books from romance and murder mystery novals to fantasy. History is a great subject I love to hear about from the civil war to world war II. I went to see a play once about the civil war. It was fantatic! I see a play once a year with my grandmother to spent time together. The plays always turn out to be great and the time with my grandmother is too. Spenting time with my family is very important to me. I love it when we go camping together. Seeing the forest and animals, going on a big hike, swimming in the lake and most of all the s'mores around the camp fire. I also love to do puzzles to try figureing out the pieces that fit together to get to the end when you see a wonderful picture. So this is all about me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church sense I was little. I had been baptized when I was 8 years old but I was never converided until I was a teen. I found myself wanting to find the answers for myself. To know if my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is really there and that They love me. I did find it when I had read the book of Mormon for the first time in my life and also through prayer. The comfort I have felt when reading the scriptures and a prayer to my Heavenly Father made a great differents in my life. Christ is really the Savior and redeemer. The one that suffered for my sins, pains, and weakness. The Atonement has lighted my burdens and strenghtened me to live the Gospel of Jesus Chirst.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church each sunday to hear the listens on the gospel, and about Christ. Also flipping though the scriptures well in church. The greatess joy was teaching the little 3 to 4 year old childern about Christ, families, being kind to friends and family. Teaching them the songs were a joy and up lifting. Another great joy is visiting with the ladys in the neighborhood. Just to talk and see how everything is going in life. To see if they need help know or later in time. It is a great way to make new friends and a bond as sisters of are Heavenly Father.
