Hi I'm Casey

I am a college student. I want to drive around in a VW bus, go skydiving, ride in a tank, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 and currently serving a mission in the England London South mission. I enjoy playing soccer and Frisbee, I want to travel the world, and I like to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because every day, all around me, I can see the power of God in my life. I can feel his love for me, and I notice growth in myself. I have never been able to feel as fulfilled as I do when helping people through the programs and the guidance of this church. It helps me forget myself, and focus on helping others. It gives me hope for the future. I don't know where I would be without a belief in the atonement of Christ. And I know that ultimately, only by submitting my will to Christ's will I be able to return to life in the presence of God.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a missionary. This means I give up 2 years of my life and pay for my mission with my savings. I spend every day searching for people to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with, and when they are interested, sharing that message with them. This gospel has blessed my life so much that it would be selfish of me not to try to share it with others. Even though many people don't want to listen, it is all worth it because to the few who will.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

The scriptures are God's word. If you want to talk to God, pray. If you want him to talk to you, read the scriptures. Reading the scriptures regularly has blessed my life greatly. I have found that when I take the time to study the scriptures, I am happier, more focused, and my day runs more smoothly. The Old Testament, the New Testament, and The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, have all strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ as I have studied them. Show more Show less
