Hi I'm Isaac Smith

I grew up in South Korea. I am 18 years old. I am a traveler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in South Korea, so my first language was Korean. Growing up I did a lot of traveling, and I loved it. Seeing this wonderful world that we live in. Seeing different cultures of life in different countries was always so fascinating to me. I moved to America when I was about nine years old. It was very hard for me to learn English as a child. Than our family moved back to South Korea when I was 15 years old. There I went on a TV show in Korea, and became a celebrity in a way. Because of that experience I had to grow up a lot. Than we moved back to America and I finished my high school here.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was born my parents have always given me an option to believe in this church or not. I did not get baptize like every kid when I was eight years of age. I decided that if I wanted to get baptize I would go with a purpose, so I met with the missionaries when I was nine years old and learned more about this gospel. Because what the missionaries taught me was so strong and I believed this was the Church of Jesus Christ, so I got baptize. Ever since than my life have changed forever. After this point many things happened in my life to help me believe this church is true, and continue to find it. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend the Copper Oaks Ward, and in our ward there are two widows. We as a youth try to help them with yard work or shoveling the snow. There also other youth in our community that don't go to church so we try to invite to come to our youth activities and just have fun and try to be friends with them.
