Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a nerd. I play football. I love the Seahawks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Originally from Utah, I've lived in Virginia, Wyoming, and Colorado. I am pretty much a modern renaissance man- I play both football and the cello, I read fantasy novels and biographies, I love lame puns and poetry. I am attending college to help me go to law school. One of the greatest things in the world is british sci fi, topped only by the NFL. I love the Seahawks. They are most definitely the best time in the world. I hate the Dallas Cowboys. I have been told many times that I resemble Gaston from Beauty and the best. Which I think is pretty cool. I love going on dates.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, but that doesn't mean I have been forced to be one. I am a Mormon because it is the right thing to do. The Mormon church has an emphasis on helping people around you that you simply cannot find anywhere else. I love my church and the people in it, and a big part of that is because of service. We live in a time where honesty is considered a shortcoming and humility is seen as a weakness. The Mormon church teaches that honesty should be sought after, and humility strived for. You cannot love if you are not honest, and you cannot learn if you are not humble.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many different ways. I have served helping youth, working with boyscouts, and being a home teacher- I visit people that go to my church and check up on them, keep them up to date on activities, and just make sure they are having a good day. I, currently, am serving a two-year mission in Louisiana, doing service and teaching people about my religion. The people I work with are some of the best in the world, and we help each other to keep the commandments and endure to the end.
