Hi I'm colby

i'm a country boy from BAMA! i race motocross. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I've raced motocross almost my entire life, guess you could say im ok. I race in the 250 class about every summer and love getting to be a part of it. motocross has become a major passion of mine. and it started growing the moment i could ride a 2 wheel bike. the power of the bikes the revs of the engines and the feeling of weightlessness you get when you just clear this huge jump its just so sick!its kind of like my happy place. Its where i go for a release, because all my other cares in the world are just gone when the gate drops, the clutch is released and the throttle is twisted. all that i think in that moment. my moment of peace is, yes. this is who i am. this is what makes me, me. Then at the end of it all i really think about my feelings and my passion for the sport, and i come to the conclusion that its Heavenly Father that made me who i am. he has given me my talents and abilities that i have, and will continue to bless them that they will grow bigger. i owe it as well to help given me from my family and friends. Although, i never really got active until i moved to Georgia but the gospel helped me find myself. including when i served my mission. it just changed me and how i thought about life, and how to seek after that which would bring my eternal joy. I'm nothing without my savior, this wonderful gospel, and the leadership from a LIVING prophet!

Why I am a Mormon

because as i went through everyday as a missionary i was able to see how many people wanted the truth but what they claimed to be the truth only ever brought them partly to the happiness they wanted and i looked at the book of Mormon and was grateful for the extra guidance and witness of Christ to allow me greater comfort in knowing that he is there for us and his atonement applies to every aspect of our lives.

How I live my faith

i live my faith every day by kneeling in prayer to my Father in Heaven who gives me my comfort and peace of mind through the day. i read my book of Mormon faithfully and diligently knowing that it's true and it can bless me in all that i want to accomplish and all that i have accomplished. its definitely something to check out. it testifies of the bible over and over again throughout the pages and books. that's what lets me know its true, and by praying. by praying faithfully knowing that i will receive an answer.
