Hi I'm Kate Summers

I grew up in Idaho. I'm studying Elementary Education at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. I'm currently working towards earning a degree in Elementary Education. I love to play the piano, read, and spend time with friends and family. I have been called to serve in the New Jersey Morristown mission, Spanish-speaking, which I am very excited about.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in God and Jesus Christ. I want to live the way they would have me live, and living by the standards of the LDS church keeps me on that path. Following the gospel makes it possible for me to be with my family after death. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy and gives me purpose. I believe in and am grateful for modern-day revelation. I know that this church is true and correct because I have prayed and asked God and have felt that it is right. I know that Joseph Smith did restore the gospel, and that modern day prophets and apostles have power and authority from Heavenly Father. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I help in our church meetings by playing the organ so the congregation can sing hymns. I enjoy visiting other girls in my congregation and helping them whenever they need help. I've decided to take 18 months off of my schooling to go on a mission to tell others about the Mormon church.
