Hi I'm Brock

I live in Spanish Fork, Utah. I work in Audio Production. I'm a student at Utah Valley University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19, and I love to do Technical Theatre, some of my favorite shows are The Phantom of The Opera, Les Mis, and others. I'm in college right now, my major is Digital Media with an emphasis in Audio Production. I've been doing live theatre for 12 years. It's my passion.

Why I am a Mormon

When i was young i had been baptized into the church, but i was not an active member, and neither was my family. We lived in a community where there weren't very many youth in the area, so we didn't have any connection to other kids besides school. One day we moved to another community where there were tons of youth, and they were very friendly and inviting. We received an invitation to come to church on Sunday, and so we went to see what it was about. I went to church and felt this overwhelming sense of calm and peace. The lesson in Sunday School was on how we can be with our families together after death, and that rang with me. I wanted to be with my family forever, even as a youth. So, me and my sister got my parents to come to church and we were sealed in the temple two years later. I am a Mormon because of the happiness i feel when i live the gospel and keep the commandments. I love the peace that i feel within my soul when i do what is right. I am a Mormon because i know it's the true Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I was a youth in the ward, where i participated in numerous activities with all of the other youth, which included going camping with the Young Men, and combined activities with the Young Women, like bowling or anything. Just being kids. I loved the Youth program with the church, but now i have moved on and i am going on a proselyting mission to Budapest, Hungary very soon.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormon's are everyday people, living normal lives. We center everything we do around the family, because they are an essential part of God's plan for us. We all have jobs, we contribute to society, and we live to do service. We read the pray, attend church, and read our scriptures, witch include the Book of Mormon and The Bible, everyday. We find that keeping the Commandments of God truly enrich our lives and make us happier. We love the happiness that we find through the Gospel and want to share it with everyone we meet.
