Hi I'm Nate

I am a Supply Chain Professor at York College of Pennsylvania. I have a beautiful wife and 4 awesome kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach supply chain, operations and statistics classes at York College of Pennsylvania. I earned a Ph.D. in Operations Management at the University of Alabama - Roll Tide Roll! I love football and soccer. I have the best family in the world. I love them so much.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in a Mormon family that attended church each week, I have had a number of events in my life that have helped me to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I cannot point to a single event, but I will list a few. When I was in high school, I was challenged by a religion teacher to truly keep a prayer in my heart always as Christ taught. I did truly try for a number of weeks. It changed the way that I lived and the way that I interacted with others. This was the first time that I truly accepted Christ into my life. I will never forget the happiness that came as I made changes in my life to follow the Savior. While I served as a missionary in Argentina I taught about Joseph Smith a lot. Almost every time that I did I could feel the truthfulness of what I was teaching. I just knew a lit more surely each time that he was called by Christ to help us know our Redeemer better. I could go on, but mostly I know that the teachings of this Church are true because as I live them my perspective changes and I am happier.

How I live my faith

I hope that I live my faith everyday. I try to be like Jesus in the way that I treat others, especially my family. I love to team up with the missionaries to visit people that are interested in hearing more about the gospel. I have recently been traveling to New Jersey to help with the Hurricane Sandy clean up. I did the same thing in New Orleans and Mississippi after Katrina. It is truly a blast to spend a weekend making a difference in the lives of people who so desperately need help. I work with the youth in our congregation. They are amazing and impress me with the ways that they are examples of Christ.
