Hi I'm Gabe

I love the snow! I love doing anything that gets me outside! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Gabe, I grew up in the Ogden area, Utah. I love the winter, but more specifically snowboarding! You can usually find me on the lift or the slope between December to February. I'm a lifeguard, and it's an awesome job! I also do triathlons, run, mountain bike, and well, pretty much anything to get me outside.I have an average size family: mom, dad, one brother, one sister, but we are always with are huge extended family, I love each and everyone of them!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family, and really just went though the motions. A time finally came where I started to question things. I doubted things, and I would attend church, but I didn't apply much of what was being said. However, there was two major things that kept me. 1) My family and how happy the Gospel made us and 2) How the love from the Savior to me specifically never left. I let these two concept grow as I read from the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of the truth. I never had a moment where it just clicked, but it was rather a gradual enlightenment. It was making me so much more happy. I got along better with my siblings, I respected my parents more and we had a better relationship, and my love and understanding of what Jesus Christ had done for me was so real. I came to the understanding that the Gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ, has been restored, and nothing has or will bring me more happiness, clarity or direction to me or my family, and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings every Sunday, this includes sacrament meeting and Sunday School. On Wednesdays I participate in the local youth group where we have fun uplifting activities, help with service projects, and come together as a local youth in a way that the spirit can be felt. Anybody who is interested tagging along is always more than welcome with open arms, it's a great way to meet great friends. During the week I try live so I can keep the Holy Spirit with me, look for ways to serve others, and try to keep Christ like attributes.
