Hi I'm Darrian Edward Mendivil

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I played football for a year at the University of Utah. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a huge sports fan and was an athlete myself for many years. I played football and track throughout junior high and high school and then I went on to play football for a year in college. I have been through two years of college and plan on getting a degree in business. Besides playing sports I enjoy the outdoors such as camping and hiking. I love spending time with friends and family. I am very adventurous and I love trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in all of their teachings. My parents were both Mormon so I grew up that way. It was easy as a kid to believe in the church and to ride off of my parents testimony, but as I grew older I needed a testimony of my own. I love the church because of the peace and help it brings into my life. Family is a huge part of the church. As I grow older, I realize more and more how important family really is and how important it is to have them in our lives. By following the churches teachings it has helped me to over come immense trials and helped me to be the best person I can be. This church gives me hope, it brings me peace, and it helps me to be happy. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday. Along with going to church, I try to make the day a little more spiritual than normal. I try to take myself away from the worries and stresses of the world and I focus on visiting teaching, personal scripture study, and helping other. I am always looking for opportunities to help those in my ward or anyone who needs the help. These tasks can range from simple errands to cleaning out flooded basements. During the week I live my faith by continuing to read my scriptures daily, praying, and always looking for opportunities to help and teach.
