Hi I'm Logan

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town of 250 people, it was great. I was able to go up in the mountains and go hiking or swimming at the lake that was near my house. I played football in highschool and also wrestled. I liked playing football more though. I have a big family, three brothers and three sisters, and I am lucky enough to say that I have a twin. I am going to be able to serve God on my mission that I will be leaving for in a month. I also am a Marine Reservist, my job is LAV Crewman. So pretty much I drive around a tank on wheels and shoot things. It's pretty great. Right now I am just workin on my grandpa's ranch, there is a lot of work to do on it, the fences all around his place all need to be replaced.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a mormon because that is what my parents are. I am not a mormong because that is the type of community that I was raised in. I am a mormon because I know for myself that it is true. I knew that my parents had a testimony that it was true, but I needed to find it out for myself. I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed and fasted about it. I prayed that I would have a knowledge of the book and the gospel. I received an answer, the Holy Ghost bore witness to me that it was true. It didn't happen all of a sudden, it didn't happen quickly, it was not obvious to start out with. I had to work at it, I had to study it out in my mind and in my heart to know if it was true. And now that I know that it is true, I still have to work at it, I still have to study the scriptures and to pray. If i didn't do that then I would lose my testimony. It is something that I have to continually work at.

How I live my faith

I have been reading my scriptures, and lately I have actually started to look into them deeper, to actually try to learn what I am reading about instead of just reading it. It is amazing the difference that it makes, I feel like I am learning and growing so much in the gospel.
