Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I have lived in different states. I love science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mormon Missionary currently serving for a period of two years. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and know that through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, being baptized, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost; that we can all come closer to our Heavenly Father, and begin on our path to righteousness. I am also a normal person. I love music, playing the Bassoon and Ocarina, and singing. I love to read. I am more of a tinkerer, Lego's are the best for that, but also with many other things, drawing, and making things out of paper or cardboard. I am also an outdoorsy person, lots of Mountain biking, hiking, and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I believe that the words of the Prophet, and the Book of Mormon are true. Because every time I have ever asked for help in faith, and when I have been righteous, that God helps me, even guides and strengthens me along my path to righteousness.

How I live my faith

I love helping the families that are in our ward, and my own family. I show my testimony every time that I serve and love those around me. I am on my mission, and I am prepared to share and spread that love to all the people that are willing to listen to the good words of the prophet, and the Book of Mormon.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Joseph Smith did not write the Book of Mormon, it is a record of the ancient Americans, known as Nephites, and Lamanites. The book also contains when Christ was risen and came to the people in the Americas, He taught and ministered to the people. It is not written by one person, but by many different people, or prophets. Just like in the Bible, it contains the stories of many prophets, and people of their time. The reason it is named the Book of Mormon is because that a prophet, Mormon, abridged the original records into what we now call the Book of Mormon. This book does not replace the Bible, but works together with the Bible as two testaments of Jesus Christ. In a scripture it says "By two or three witnesses will you know of the truth." This book is that second witness, or another thing to help us grow in our, Earthly, mortal journey back to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
