Hi I'm Jenna

I am a piano teacher, a future dietician, a proud auntie, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the LDS church to parents who taught me the importance of living the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am the third of four girls in my family, and each one of my sisters are my very best friends. My two older sisters are married and have adorable kiddos. I recently graduated from high school and had the opportunity to also attend community college during my junior and senior years. In result, I also received an Associate's Degree by the time I finished high school. I plan to transfer to a four year university and obtain a Bachelor's degree, possibly in dietetics. Maintaining my health is important to me and I am sure this profession will bless my life and also my future family. I love music. I have played the piano for 13 years and I love sharing this talent with others. When I was 14, I started teaching piano lessons out of my home and continue to do so to this day. I love being outdoors, especially out on the lake during the summer. I love to shop (probably a little too much), play volleyball, shoot hoops and play a little guitar with my dad. But there is nothing better than just spending time with my family, no matter what we are doing. I love them all so much.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the joy and happiness that this gospel brings is found no where else. I was raised in the Mormon church so this is the life I have always known, but I will forever be grateful for the path my parents set for me. As I got older I began to gain a firm testimony of my own of the importance of living the teachings of Jesus Christ and following His example. The commandments are there to keep us safe and as we follow them we will be blessed more than we could imagine. I feel the love of my Father and Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ every day as I pray and study the scriptures. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that it is the word of God. Our Father in Heaven knows us personally and He is there to comfort us and answer our prayers as long as we are willing to let Him in and ask. I know that our Savior lives, that he atoned for each and every one of our sins so that we may repent and live with Him again someday. I will forever be grateful for that incredible sacrifice. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on Earth and I am so grateful for the blessings and joy that come from living the principles of this gospel.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a way of life. As a member of the church I strive to become more like my Savior everyday as I try to be a good example to those around me and do what is right even when nobody is watching. I am about to serve an 18 month mission for the church and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to teach others the things I know to be true and bring people unto the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I believe that service is one of the greatest ways to live my faith because being charitable and willing to help those around me in any way I can is exactly what our Savior Jesus Christ would do for us. My purpose in this life is to become more like my Savior, and as I serve and live his teachings I know that I can get a little bit closer to that goal everyday.
