Hi I'm Analiesa

I love being a wife and mother, I love teaching children, I love to smile, and I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mother of three. I have a loving and supportive husband. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant, doing home health work. My favorite thing to do is teach children about the restored gospel through music and help them understand and apply it to their lives. I really enjoy the energy that children have and I love seeing them experience fun things. It is so awesome to be a part of a child's life and show them love as our Savior would if He were here.

Why I am a Mormon

My family was all baptized when I was 9 years old. We were Methodist. We were very involved in the Methodist church. My mother was studying all different religions at the time the sister missionaries knocked at her door. She had particularly been studying the journal of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist religion, and one of the last things he wrote was that he still hadn't found the whole truth. He was still searching for it. So my mother was searching for the whole truth also when the sister missionaries knocked at her door. She was very excited to see them and saw that they had a Book of Mormon and asked them if she could buy it from them! Of course they just gave it to her, they are free to everyone. The sisters came to our home often to teach us of the restored gospel. It took us probably a year to actually be baptized because my mother had to find others to take over for her positions she held in the Methodist church, and my father had to give up smoking. He did cold turkey and has never gone back because of his faith and love of the gospel. I remember the feelings of the Spirit testifying to me of the truthfulness of the things the sisters were teaching me, and I remember the feelings of love and peace when I was baptized! It was a beautiful day! I am so very grateful to my parents for opening their hearts and minds to the message the missionaries were giving. I love this restored gospel of Jesus Christ! I have a testimony that it is the same gospel that Christ brought to the earth during his ministry on the earth. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and is another testament of Jesus Christ. I am especially grateful to my Savior for taking my sins from me. His grace gives me the strength I need to go about my life with love in my heart. I love having the comfort of knowing I will be blessed with being with my family for all eternity. I love having the comfort of the restored gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I have been taught to show my faith in our Savior through everything I do and say, not just on Sunday, but everyday. I do have the opportunity on Sundays to teach the music of the restored gospel to the children in our church. It is the best calling I have ever had! I get to bare my testimony every Sunday through music, and teaching the children the meaning of the songs we sing is a beautiful way to do this. I am grateful to have the guidance of the restored gospel in my life. Having the gift of the Holy Ghost to guide me everyday in everything I do is such a blessing to me and to those around me. I'm not perfect at all and so I am forever grateful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, He truly lifts me up and helps me do all that is asked of me.
