Hi I'm Bailey

Hi I'm Bailey! I love to sing, I love food, music, movies, and meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I served a mission for the church in Washington DC North Spanish speaking. I loved my mission so much and I have seen so many changes within myself because of it. I got to meet so many wonderful people around the world and I also got to learn about their cultures. I have had some big trials in my life but they have defined who I am and have brought me closer to my Savior because I have learned from them. I absolutely love my family and have amazing friends that support me. I love changes in life and seeing where life takes me next. One of my hobbies is singing. I love helping people feel the spirit through music. I am the youngest and the only girl in my family and I love my brothers (this is why I like cars and watching sports). I love being an aunt and everything that comes with it. I hope to serve the Lord with everything that I have and give back a little to him because he has blessed me so much. There are so many things that I am thankful for in my life. I'm especially thankful for my family. I am part of an amazing family and all my siblings and I have been able to serve full times missions. I'm also grateful that we can be an eternal family through the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter Day Saints, but there comes a time when everyone needs to know for themselves if this is the true gospel. I know it is true and it brings me so much happiness. It brings me comfort to know that I can have an eternal family and that this isn't the end. I have had many experiences that testify that my Savior loves and knows me. I took a huge leap of faith by serving a mission. So far it has blessed me in ways I can't imagine and the Lord has blessed my family as well. I am a mormon because I know that Jesus Christ himself has restored His church to this earth. I am so fortuante to be among thousands of missionaries proclaiming His gospel and inviting others to come unto Christ. I know this is the only true church on this earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by having trying to have an eternal perspective in life. No body said life would be easy but it will all worth it in the end. Serving a mission has prooved that to me many times. Missions aren't easy but when you have those miracles, they mean the world to you. I want to strive to live my life as the Savior did in being an example to those around me. There are many people that I look up to and I hope that I can be someone that people can look up to. We all have different trials in our lives and the Savior knows how we handle them. I know that our Heavenly Father Knows and loves us and wants the best for. I know trials are there to bless us and teach us what we need to know in this life. I strive to live the best that I can be and be someone that my Heavenly Father is proud of.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

It is not a requirement to serve a mission. Men in the church are expected to however. With the age change in the missionary program the Lord has asked more and more young men and women to answer to his call and serve a mission. God gave us all free agency and we can decide with the Lord's help by the spirit if serving a mission is right. The work is progressing and growing so much that we need more missionaries. It a big leap of faith and a hard desicion. With prayer and fasting we can know what the will of the Father is and choose for ourselves to act on it. Show more Show less
