Hi I'm Wallace

I'm a helicopter pilot. I am married with 5 children. I love my family and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors. I love to camp, fish, and hike. I have also grown to love aviation. A few years ago, I started flying helicopters and I love it. My favorite thing to do is be with my family. In our busy lives, there is nothing else I would rather be doing than be with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are faithful members of the Church. They taught me well at a very early age. I was baptized when I was 8. As I grew up, there came a time that I needed to find out for myself that these things are true. I had gone to college and wasn't fully living up to the standards I had been taught. I got engaged (even though I felt I should go on a mission). One day I had a very special experience with a friend that changed my life. I knew I needed to serve a mission. I broke off the engagement and decided to go on a mission. This is where my testimony was strengthened. I feel I always had a testimony, I just needed two learn how to recognize it for myself. I know God lives. I know he loves me. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to make it possible for his children to return to him. I know the Gospel has been restored in these latter days through a Prophet Joseph Smith. I know he translated the Book of Mormon. This Book is the word of God. I love the principles taught in this church. I know we can return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus as families.

How I live my faith

Over the last few years, I have been able to work with the youth in my church. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work closely with my sons and be able to participate in their activities. On Sunday, I was their instructor and really enjoyed teaching them about Jesus Christ and his gospel. On weekdays or weekends, we were able to do outdoor activities and teach them other skills. We have done hiking, fishing, camping, and more. My calling has now changed and I am now assisting the stake. I am able to attend other wards and offer support to them, speak in meetings, and help them in any way.
