Hi I'm Mark Heumann

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm preparing my self to serve in the Cauayan Philippines Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I just graduated from High School where I wrestled for 3 years. I enjoy sports in general especially BYU football. I am competitive. I plan on attending college after I return from serving a mission. I love to watch movies, camping, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy rock climbing and running. I have hiked King's Peak in 1 day. I enjoy lots of activities. I am a people person.

Why I am a Mormon

I'd like to share a little bit about how I came to know of the truthfulness of this gospel. When I was a child going through my late teen years till i was almost eighteen years old I really didn't have a testimony for myself of the truthfulness of the Lord's work and love that He has for all of us. I unfortunately used other's testimonies to use as mine, but that all changed the week before my senior year of high school. Before beginning my senior year I wasn't on the correct path that I was intentionally seeking for and I wanted to change for my benefit, and I did change with the help of my parents and my bishop and when the time came to prepare for an LDS mission I got further guidance from my bishop and stake president, and support from my loving mother and family, and with that I have the wonderful oppurtunity to serve our loving Heavenly Father and serve people in the Philippines Cauayan Mission on February 13th of this up coming year. I want to testify that there is a God and He lives and loves and knows each one of us by name. Our Heavenly Father sent our brother Jesus Christ, the Savior to be an example for us, I truly know that our brother bled from every pore of his body to atone for each and everyone's sins and make it possible for of all us to return to him and to our beloved Heavenly Father in the Celestial Kingdom. I know from personal experiences that if you kneel down with a truly humble heart and contrite spirit, that God will know no-more of your sins and forgive thee. I have a personal testimony of prayer, that God listens and answers our prayers. I have felt his love and forgiveness countless times. I'm not perfect but I strive to my capabilities to keep and obey the commandments. Heavenly Father is there for me and each one of us and knows each and everyone's personal needs and puts obstacles in our path to make us stronger. Through my trials I'm stronger. I say these things in the name of our beloved Savior and brother Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I helped the Special Needs Youth Group and I love helping there when I had the oppurtunity to. I was the oldest in my quorum, but recently became an Elder. I am taking Missionary Preparation and I attend Institute of Religion daily. I enjoy playing church sports like volleyball and basketball. I helped organized our Turkey Bowl at Thanksgiving.
