Hi I'm Sven

Born in the US but lived in Europe for 7 years. Love to travel and i love creating my own music. I love my Family. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am serving in the Russia Samara Mission. I am very grateful for the family and friends that I have around me to support me. I love music and sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown to love the Gospel on my own and believe it to be true. I have built my own testimony up over the years of me being a member of this great Church. I know that God lives and loves us all. He sent His son to earth to suffer, die, and atone for the sins of the world so that we can live with our Heavenly Father again after this life. I believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and the most true and complete book on this earth. I believe that Joseph Smith was called of God to be a prophet on this earth during this time and that he restored the fullness of the Lord's gospel on the earth in these days. I know that Thomas Monson is the true and living prophet on the earth today and that he receives true revelation from God on how to guide His church on this earth and to further progress its development. I am grateful for missionary work and I know that it truly is God's work and it will not be finished until it touches every corner of the earth and I am grateful that i can soon be apart of His great work. I know that when we feel at our lowest and we are having a hard time that the Lord is there below us holding us up and will help us if we let Him. If we put our faith in Him he will help us overcome any weaknesses that we have and make them strengths for us. The atonement is a real thing and we all should incorporate it in our lives. Nobody is perfect and we all need His grace and mercy to be saved. We need to endure to the end and have unwavering faith in Him

How I live my faith

In high school I helped teach the special needs kids. It was such a great experience that taught me to love everyone no matter what their circumstances and that God loves them for who they are. I was then later called to serve as a special needs counselor for my stake and region. It is so much fun and they are always happy! I love to serve people and make them happy and feel like they are worth while, and while i was in Germany I had the opportunity to go to South Africa in the middle of the Kalahari Desert 2 different times. They do not have much there and live very modestly and i thoroughly enjoyed going and spending time with the kids there and helping improve their quality of living and education. Teaching in their schools was an eye opener to me. They were so grateful for the simplest things that my team and I would do for them. They truly are a happy people. It taught me a lot of life principles and also taught me to be extremely grateful for the things that I have been blessed with.
