Hi I'm Lindsey

I was born and raised in the Mormon church! And I am PRoUd of it and love it! =]

About Me

I am a single adult that just likes to make friends and have fun. I like to be outdoors and I love to travel! I am not currently a college student but I am trying to get back into school to finish so I can get my degree. Right now I am wanting to major in health and fitness. (apt to change haha) I currently co-own a bakery. It is a small , family business that was just recently opened. It is very time consuming, but that is okay. Something has to keep me busy (since school doesn't! =/ )But I just keep living life and taking life one day at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

All I know is that I am happier with Christ in my life. Things may not work out the way that I want them to sometimes but if I put full faith in Christ first, they always work out (&always for the better) even if it is not my choice. I know that Christ is the captain to my ship &that he is in charge. I can only make those small choices &changes, but he is the one that has the most control over my life (which is good). He steers my life in which way he wants it to go. In the long run, he always leads me to happiness, even if i don't see it at the time. I do not have a 'miracle' story to share (like why I believe or how i became a convert- for one I was born &raised in the church) There was a time that I tried to leave God out of my life & OBVIOUSLY it did not work & was that a joke & a major mistake in my life! How stupid of me to even think about trying that! (As you can see) It did not work for very long either! I did not see it or recognize it @ the time, but how miserable I was! I was not happy about my life &missed out on so many great blessings that I could have received (which I regret). Life is hard, but it is all about trying. When you are down, you count your blessings &you are already lifted back up within just a few seconds or minutes. Think of worse situations or scenarios, &it automatically makes you feel more grateful for the blessings you truly have in your life. If you can't move on past the "bad day" you are having, then look to the Lord to help you, or simply just look at his last day here on Earth and I guarantee your day won't seem as bad! All the pain he went through in just ONE DAY can not even add up to the pain that I might go through IN A LIFETIME! I know that when I do the right things I am happy and the guilt I feel when I do wrong. I know the feelings i get, like helping others and obeying the commandments, are good. Why would you not want to feel this way? I know that this is the spirit and that Christ lives and has a plan for all of us.

How I live my faith

very carefully and lovingly. =] I help out with the nursery kids on Sundays and I LOVE it!
