Hi I'm Jenna

I'm a California girl, a photographer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Canada, Edmonton Mission. My future college plans include, majoring in Pediatric Occupational Therapy, with a minor in Music Therapy. My passions are helping kids know that they are loved, to make them laugh and to teach them how to better their situations. I've had the opportunity, and blessing to be an aunt to an amazing 7 year old girl. She was born with a rare birth defect and through our journey we've seen miracles. I've developed a deeper love for helping children with illnesses and physical/mental setbacks.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I simply believe in the Lords plan for me. I believe that through the plan of salvation we can all be happy and given opportunities that otherwise would be withheld from us. I choose to be a "mormon" because thats my way of life, it is my life. I can not explain how important the church is to me, all I can say is that the light that the gospel has put in my life is something I want and need to share with the world. Who doesn't want to be happy? If you knew me, which I'm hoping this will help you get to know me, you would know that the gospel makes my life worth while and enjoyable. Knowing God loves me has pulled me out of sadness and has made me into the person I am today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by enduring the days, weeks and months that seem impossible to get though; by finding the miracles that have paved my life, and by trusting my Heavenly Father in every aspect of my life. I have just been called to serve as a missionary in the Edmonton, Canada mission and I can't wait to rely on my faith and Heavenly Father every single day. I know that as I teach people about God and His love for them I will grow in my faith and testimony. A recent experience I've had with faith is waiting for my mission call. Due to some medical reasons I had to wait 10 months to be recommended for missionary service. It was through the sleepless nights and lost hope that I strengthen my faith. I humbled myself and submitted my will to my Father in Heaven. I've learned that once you give yourself to Heavenly Father and once you humble yourself to trust His timing, He will take care of you and mold you into the person you need to be in order to receive the blessings that are in store for you.
