Hi I'm Sicelo Nyawo

I am a South African. I work for government and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am currently a Branch President in my Branch. I am a Dad, blessed with two kids, son and a daughter. I am working as a Court Interpreter in the employ of the Department of Justice. I like sports very much, Soccer, Rugby and Cricket.

Why I am a Mormon

I was attracted mostly by the spirit of humanity and brotherhood. I investigated the Church and I know that the church is true.

How I live my faith

The Church has taught me so much. I have realised that my life is empty without this church. I was blessed with a loving and caring wife. I married her before she could join the church and she has joined the church. Through her five sisters has joined the church as well. She is the President of the youngwomen and one her sisters is the youth teacher and the other teaches seminary. Through our faith the Lord has done so much for us and we are forever grateful for that. I have also seen the fruits of my labour helping the missionaries. One family I hand a hand in helping them join the church has now sent three sons on mission and that is my testimony of doing the missionary work. I work very close with the youth and young single adults and I have given them their sundays every month to actively participate in Church. We organise activities for the the members to interact and socialise with each other

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Sicelo Nyawo
The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead, along with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost is one in purpose with the Father and the Son, but is a separate being. Through Joseph Smith, the Lord revealed: The Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us. (Doctrine and Covenants 130:22 The special mission of the Holy Ghost is to testify of the Father and the Son, to reveal the truth (Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:4,5), to comfort us (John 14:26), and to sanctify us.
