Hi I'm Christopher Alden

I'm a gamer. I'm an artist. I'm a voice actor. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a high school graduate and I'm studying animation and voice acting in college. I've been to college for one year before going out to serve a mission. I draw cartoons, fan art, and my own characters I have created. I'm also a huge gamer. I taught high school students improv comedy and we performed in a few shows. I do cartoon voice impressions that my friends really enjoy. I'm an Eagle Scout. I love to sing. I played competitive volleyball in high school along with swimming during the summer for my club team. I have the best friends and the greatest family anyone could ever hope to have. My family and friends are amazing and I love my pets. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Canada Vancouver Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

The missionaries came to my home and my parents let them in. I was baptized, i received callings over the years, and I have learned about God and how He loves me. I am a Mormon because I can ask questions and receive answers from God. I joined the Church with the faith I had and I continue to serve and to live the gospel with the faith I have gained and continue to strengthen. I have asked and tested my faith and have had my faith tested to know if the things in this Church are true and I know they are because the Holy Ghost has testified these truths to me.

How I live my faith

Growing up, my family taught me the importance of charity, love, and helping others. I help people wherever I am and I love to make people smile and enjoy life. I was taught by missionaries and members of the Church about how Jesus Christ is the example to follow and as I prayed about the things I learned, I gained a testimony of His teachings. I chose to serve a full time mission and this concecrated service has shown me how I live my faith: with all my heart, might, mind, and strength. I want to share the blessings that have come into my life as I have lived the gospel of Jesus Christ with others and as a missionary I do that by teaching others how the gospel blesses lives and makes us happier as we come unto Christ.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Christopher Alden
A testimony is an experince, a personal witness, and an answer given to an individual by the Holy Ghost. Mormons have testimonies about many principles of the gospel. When I have a question about a principle or just a question involving the gospel, I kneel in humble prayer and ask my Heavenly Father my question, in the name of Jesus Christ, that I am willing to act upon the answer i receive.
