Hi I'm Meredith

I love to sew my own dresses, ballroom dance, and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 6th of 7 kids. I have been very blessed to have a big family growing up. I have a personal relationship with each one of my siblings This has made our family gatherings a bit more lively but it has also really strengthened my testimony having so many great examples in my life. This upcoming year I will be going off to college and will also be filling out my papers to go on an 18 month mission to teach some of Heavenly Father's children about the gospel.... I love singing, I'm in my school's A Capella choir as well as in Jazz choir. One of the strongest ways I feel the Spirit is through music. I love dancing, crafts, sewing, reading, and having deep conversations about our Savior and his teachings with friends and family. I want to get a degree in Special education then eventually in fashion and design. I want to design cute, modest clothing. I know that by dressing modestly one not only builds up their own self-esteem but also a relationship with their Heavenly Father. I have a strong desire for Girls all over the world to know this. Out of both those degrees I desire, what i want to do most in my life is to be a mom. I love Children and am extremely humbled by the fact that Heavenly Father is letting us be physical and spiritual guardians to His Children. I know that being a good mom is one of the greatest and most noble things women can do in life. Changing the world starts with changing the people and changing the people starts within your own home :)

Why I am a Mormon

When I was little I leaned on my parents testimonies and what they would teach me about the Mormon religion. But that didn't last very long. Little by little I slowly started to grown my own testimony. Starting with Joseph Smith. Every year my family would go to church History sites by visiting these places I learned all about Joseph Smith and the trials he and many of the saints went though in the beginning stages of the church. Hearing his story touched my heart. I learned to know without a shadow of double that he really did See God the Father and his son Jesus Christ, that the Book of Mormon was translated through Joseph Smith and is truly the Word of God. I am so grateful for The Book of Mormon and the Bible. These books have changed my life and have taught me how to be more like my Savior. I would not be the person I am today without them. As the years went by I grew a strong desire to know many things. I learned how to ask these desires through prayer. Being able to pray to my Father in Heaven and know that I will receive an answer(not always right away) has given me a great knowledge of how real He is. I know that by keeping His commandments and staying clean I can keep the Holy Spirit with me at all times. I grateful to know that like Christ's Church in the bible, we have prophets and apostles called of God on the earth today. That give us further revelation as we need it. I know that if I try my hardest at being the best person I can be that through my works and the grace of God, I can be saved. I know by being worthy to enter the Temple of God I can make and keep sacred covenants with my Father in Heaven as well as be sealed for time and all eternity to my future spouse and children. I SO grateful for my Savior and His atoning sacrifice. That He died and suffered for all of our sins. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us all and knowing this, that is why I am a Mormon. I know its true. I live it, I love it, I could never deny it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an active member of my church and participating in all my church meetings and activities. I take every calling I receive in the church very seriously and try hard learn and grow from them. I love sharing Heavenly Fathers Plan and discussing his teachings with all my friends. I try my best to live all of the church's standards and to be an example to others at all times, in all things, and in all places even though I know that I am far from perfect. I also live my faith by recognizing Heavenly Fathers hand in everything I do and receive in my life.
