Hi I'm Kiana

I grew up in Utah, I am Hawaiian, Filipino, Chinese, Portuguese and Caucasian. I am a college student, a Care Giver. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19. I am a student at BYU-Hawaii. I'm a Biology Major with an emphasis in BioMedical Sciences. I hope to be a pediatrician. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Medical Assistant. I love the medical field and have worked as a CNA since I got my certificate my junior year, in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation for mainly the elderly. I have also worked in a pediatricians office during my medical assisting training and I love being able to work closely with people and really help them anyway that I can. I want to get a medical degree because I feel that I want to be able to do as much good as I can in the world with the skills and talents I have been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to the church and it's what I've been taught from an early age about the gospel. It wasn't until I got older I started to wonder for my self about the church. It was weird to question things that I had been taught and even though I had been baptized I really wanted to know for my self if the church was true. I started to read the Book of Mormon and really pay attention in church trying to find an answer. I prayed about it and I knew in my heart that it was true. I am currently serving a full time mission so that others may find the joy and happiness through the gospel. I want others to know the love that Heavenly Father has for them and the joy that he does care about us. I believe that this is a gospel of change and that we can and will change through Christ. I know that there is nothing that we can not be forgiven for through the Atonement if we are faithful. I know that I am a child of God and each and every person is on this earth is too.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary assigned to the Baguio Philippines mission. I will be sharing and teaching the gospel for the next 18 months and working to bring others closer to Christ.
